Drone scouting of farm land. We’ve recently added a drone to our farm management toolbox! What a great addition!
Our “plane” has a range of 4 miles, a camera for still pictures and videos. I can fly it slowly just above the crop looking for weed issues, or up to 40 mph getting from one field to another. I can see areas that need fertility, drainage, waterway work or tillage or machinery issues. I anticipate being able to use it for scouting existing tile lines in the spring of the year. We’ll also be using it in our farm and acreage sales productions.
